A LOOK INSIDE CHARON’S HOME

We are visiting the unique home of Charon, her husband Jasper and their two sons in Dodewaard. They live in a remarkable building: a former school that they completely transformed into a warm and characterful family home.

From old school to atmospheric kitchen living space

Charon speaks enthusiastically about their renovation. “We did everything ourselves, with the help of the wonderful people around us. The building was truly a challenge, but it feels amazing that everything now completely reflects our taste.” She describes their style as a blend of industrial, rural and rustic elements. The kitchen living area is the heart of the home. Here you will find a sturdy wooden dining table combined with Milo dining chairs. They chose the fabric Oasis Natural 01, a natural and soft shade that fits perfectly with the calm and serene look of the space. The chair legs match beautifully with the dark kitchen, which ties the entire room together.

Chairs you want to sit on all evening

The decision to choose the Milo chairs was very intentional. “We were looking for chairs that looked beautiful but, above all, were extremely comfortable,” Charon explains. The elegant curves, soft upholstery and warm tone of the chairs make the room feel cosy and inviting. What makes it even more enjoyable is that the Milo chairs pair wonderfully with the rest of the furniture in the home. “It is so nice to see the Annabelle sofa from Room108 and the chairs from Gusj come together in this unique interior. The items complement each other perfectly,” Charon says enthusiastically.
