A LOOK INSIDE CYNTHIA’S HOME

Cynthia shows that a minimalist interior doesn’t have to be boring at all. In her home, tranquility, playfulness, and practical family life blend seamlessly, with the dining chairs serving as a real eye-catcher. In this home tour, she shares her personal style, the choices she makes, and how her interior evolves alongside her family.

A warm home for the whole family

Cynthia and her husband live with their three children (ages 7, 5, and 1) in a newly built home that Cynthia has decorated entirely herself. “My love for interior design started when I was little. I wanted to rearrange my bedroom every week, much to my parents’ slight frustration,” she says with a laugh. “Now that I’m a mom myself, I can channel that creativity into my children’s rooms and the rest of our home.” She has since carried that passion over into her work as an interior designer and photographer.

When decorating their home, one thing was central from the start: family life. The corner in the dining room was love at first sight and has now been transformed into a play area. Yet the space always looks calm and tidy, because toys neatly disappear behind cabinet doors.

An interior that radiates tranquility

Although her style is often described as Japandi, Cynthia herself prefers to call it “warm minimalist.” You can see that style throughout the house: soft, natural colors, calm materials, and a well-thought-out layout. The foundation is calm and balanced, with the dining table and chairs as the focal point of the room. This is truly where the family gathers, making it not only beautiful but also practical for daily life.

At the same time, she loves to change things up every now and then. With accessories, she easily gives her interior a new vibe. “I regularly change things around in the house. It’s fun to go with the seasons and keep adding new accents.”

Stylish cohesion in the dining room

In the dining room, the Cooper dining chairs by Gusj, upholstered in Rhythm Natural fabric, create a beautiful ensemble. The black legs blend seamlessly with the dark dining table, while the light upholstery adds a soft, warm touch. A combination that fits perfectly within Cynthia’s minimalist style.

But the chairs aren’t just beautiful to look at; comfort and ease of use are also important. They’re incredibly comfortable, making them ideal for long evenings at the table with friends and family, where atmosphere and comfort naturally come together.
