A warm Japandi interior

In her cosy home in Hoef en Haag, Jenny has created an interior that perfectly blends tranquillity, warmth and simplicity. She describes her interior style as Japandi: a harmonious mix of minimalist forms, natural materials and warm earth tones. As soon as you step inside, you immediately sense the tranquil atmosphere that pervades the entire home.

When designing her interior, Jenny felt it was particularly important that all the spaces flowed beautifully into one another. The dining room therefore connects seamlessly with the kitchen, both in terms of colours and materials. By opting for soft tones, dark accents and natural textures, a single, tranquil whole is created in which everything is perfectly balanced.

Calm and cohesion in the dining room

The dining room forms the heart of the home. Thanks to the large windows and the natural light, the space feels open and inviting. The oval black dining table provides a strong focal point, whilst the light tones and soft fabrics create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The Xavi dining chairs by Gusj, upholstered in Cayenne Shell 196 fabric, are a real eye-catcher in the room. The soft, warm upholstery instantly gives the dining room a calm and luxurious feel that perfectly complements Jenny’s Japandi style. What stands out particularly is how beautifully the chairs complement the dining table. The black legs of the chairs, in particular, match the table’s base perfectly, creating a stylish unity.

As well as appearance, comfort was just as important to Jenny. The rounded shapes and comfortable armrests make the chairs perfect for a long evening of dining with family and friends.
